Ulysse Nardin Boutique Istanbul
For Ulysse Nardin Boutique’s opening in October 2014 on Altin Sokak, Nisantasi, Istanbul, a cooperation with “Turmepa” Association had been made and a giant fish installation with plastic bottles picked up from the seashore by the volunteers was exhibited and donated to the association at the end of the night. With this social responsibility project organized by Turmepa cooperation, the aim was to draw attention to the protection of the seas.
Special & limited series produced for Turkey
With its innovator and successful vision that keeps one step ahead of its rivals, Şark Saatçilik has carried out sensational projects with the limited watches specially produced for Turkey. In the year 2007, the watch which was manufactured in 99 golden and 150 steel limited pieces for Ataturk’s yatch Savarona in cooperation with Ulysse Nardin, drew upmost attention by the watch lovers. The revenue from the sale of the watch with Number 1 case was sold for 100.000 USD in the auction made in Savarona Yatch, was donated to the Turkish Education Association.
Later on in 2012, Voyage Bleu series were manufactured limited in 99 golden and 150 steel pieces, dedicated to Blue Voyage, calling to the sea passion of Turks. This special series that were launched with press conferences were sold out in a very short time. Manufacturing of new a Voyage Bleu series in 2014 remarks that this collection drew an intensive attention.
“Chronofighter Overload”, manufactured by Graham in commemoration of the 60th year of Operation Overload (code name for the Battle of Normandy), which had changed the fate of the World War II, was re-designed in memory of the Turkish pilots with Şark Saatçilik’s initiative. “The Spitfire” model, manufactured in 100 samples, having Turkey map and the emblem of Turkish Air Forces on it, was presented with a special launch cocktail in the Plane Section Lengerhaneof Koc Museum. The watch having the number 1 case of the series was donated to Turkish Air Forces.
Corum Admiral’s Cup Challange 44, re-designed for Turkey with star and crescent and Turkey map on its dial, presents a perfect synergy with its twelve corner case.
Bosphorus Cup series, manufactured limited and special for Bosphorus Cup races, which sailmakers from all over the world race with enthusiasm on Bosphorus, takes place among the special models that Corum manufactues for Turkey. The watch, designed with Bosphorus Cup logo is one of the exclusive collections of Corum.
