Grenade: Pull the Pin, Live for Now
Grenade reinterprets the historical MKII hand grenade as a desk clock with an eight-day power reserve. The pin on top doubles as the key: pull it to set the time and wind the movement. Hours and minutes are read on two rotating black aluminium discs, directly above the visible balance wheel.
The 255-component frame echoes the grenade's grooved shell with five plates and six vertical supports. At 120.5 mm tall and 620 grams, it almost matches the dimensions of the original. Eight colours are offered, each limited to 99 pieces.
The Gekko: A Living Sculpture, on the Wall or the Table
The Gekko carries an openworked skeleton movement beating at 18,000 vibrations per hour into the form of a lizard. It can be wall-mounted in 10 positions or placed on a table; a rotating ring on the dial realigns the hour markers to the chosen orientation. Winding is done by shifting the tail from side to side.
Designed by Marie Siebenborn, the piece measures 290 mm in length and weighs 1.4 kg. Body, legs and tail are finished by hand with anglage, mirror polishing and sand-blasting. The gold-plated, black & silver and champagne editions are limited to 99 pieces.
Belly Tank Racer: From the Salt Flats to the Desk
Belly Tank Racer draws on the American dry-lake racers of the 1940s: teardrop-shaped speed machines built from surplus aircraft fuel tanks. Designed by Eric Meyer, the body is 420 mm long and weighs 5.4 kg. It carries aluminium bodywork, steel rims and rubber tyres.
Hours and minutes are read on two transparent rotating discs wrapped around the central cylinder, with the movement visible behind them. Winding is done by rolling the car backwards: the rear wheels wind the eight-day mainspring. Offered in blue, green, metallic grey, red and black, in a limited edition of 99 pieces.
