AFTER-SALES
Technical Service to Haute Horlogerie Standards
Mechanical watches are works of fine engineering in which well over a hundred micro-components operate in harmony. With expertise to Swiss standards, a guarantee of original spare parts and a skilled technical infrastructure, the Şark Saatçilik Authorized Technical Service preserves the performance and value of your watch for generations.
Technical standards: To maintain the precision and performance of the movement, periodic servicing, protection from magnetic fields and handling only by an authorized service are recommended.

Frequently asked questions
The questions we hear most often. For anything not covered here, write to us.
How does the service process work?
Send your request by e-mail or phone. Our team will inform you about hand-over options and the process.
How often should my watch be serviced?
A mechanical watch needs regular servicing at an authorized workshop to stay healthy. The ideal interval depends on the model and how the watch is used.
Is a daily deviation normal in a mechanical watch?
As a mechanical watch consists of well over a hundred parts, a deviation of 6–12 seconds over 24 hours is considered normal. If the deviation grows noticeably, the watch should be checked.
Do magnetic fields and shocks affect my watch?
Yes. Sources of magnetic fields such as computers and mobile phones may influence the movement, and violent shocks — common in tennis or golf — should be avoided.
My automatic watch has stopped; is something wrong?
An automatic watch left unworn for a while uses up its power reserve and stops — this is not a fault. Winding it by hand and setting the time is enough. If it keeps stopping in regular use, have it checked.
There is condensation under the crystal; what should I do?
Condensation means the water resistance of the case has weakened. Bring your watch to the service without delay so the movement is not damaged.
